The Foundation unifies, and acts as a guiding body for existing prem support groups, helps to create new ones, help to improve the treatments and outcomes available for premature infants, and represent the interests of these infants and their families in terms of health policies, funding and standards of care.

Life’s Little Treasures Foundation has an ‘Online Forum Support’ partner – L’il Aussie Prems (LAP).
L’il Aussie Prems is an Australian website for parents of premature babies, offering a variety of useful links for parents including a free community forum/chatroom where you can talk to other parents who have been through this roller coaster ride.

Life’s Little Treasures Foundation are proud support partners of the Victorian Infant Brain Study (VIBeS) research group.
The research group looks at brain injury and early brain development in premature and sick infants using state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques. They also focus on identifying factors that influence brain maturation in sick infants and determine how they are associated with neurobehavioural development.
