For the second year running, we had our Picnic in the Park on 2nd December. It was a glorious warm day and the kids had a great time running around, playing on the equipment, munching on food, whilst the mums and dads had an opportunity to chat with other parents in a fun social environment. Isn’t it amazing to see these children laugh and play and behaving like any other children? What amazing individuals they are!

It was also great to see some new faces - thank you to all the families for taking the time to come out and join us in this crazy time of the year. Special thanks to the family who came out and joined us whilst their bub was still in hospital – we hope that you had the opportunity to chat to other parents about their journey and realise that you are not in this on your own. Thank you to the committee who as always, dedicated their time and energy to organise the day.
We look forward to our next picnic in 2008.
