The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation organises Parent Support/Play groups at various venues, it also holds at it’s Chadstone location a monthly “Premmie & Beyond” Information Session, details below. This is a great opportunity for parents with premature babies to have a cuppa and chat and meet other parents in a similar situation. All venues are free of charge and siblings are welcome.

Unfortunately there may be times due to circumstances beyond our control that a group has be cancelled. In this instint we do issue a cancelletion notice to all those on the group’s register, however if you are not yet on a group’s register please do contact us before coming to ensure that the group is running, to avoid a wasted journey.

Hospital Support
The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation also provides support to families that are currently going through the journey of prematurity within the hospitals we currently run two support groups with the assistance of social workers in the following hospitals. These support groups are only open to families that currently have a child in NICU/SCN.
Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne
Morning teas are held the first Wednesday of the month (except during school holidays) on the 4th (NICU) floor. This provides a great opportunity for parents with babies currently in NICU/SCU to meet parents who have been through this experience before. These morning teas are only available to parents who currently have babies in NICU or SCN at the hospital.
