Each year thousands of babies are born premature or sick, and a whole family begins the journey through neonatal intensive care units and special care nurseries.
So on the 6th of November 2011 at locations throughout the country families, friends and supporters all came together to walk for these special babies and to help raise funds for the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation.

The major walk/fun run was held at Albert Park Lake in Melbourne where participants could take part in a timed 10km run, 5km run or 5km walk. This was followed by a wide range of entertainment including music, jumping castle, face-painting, animal farm and much more, with lots of families enjoying fun picnics.
Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide, Country Vic (Shepparton) and Perth held smaller events consisting of a social walk and BYO picnics.
