Lifes’s Little Treasures Foundation is a non government funded volunteer run charity that aims to improve the outcome of babies born premature or sick. We do this by providing support, friendship, information and assistance to families and supporting research. To find out more about our services have a look at our prematurity resources.

In order to help us continue our much needed service, we rely completely on the kind generosity and donations of organisations and individuals like yourself.

Last year we held our inaugural Walk for Prems at Albert Park Lake in Vicotria which was a huge success despite the adverse weather. Over 1000 people took part helping us to raise over $50,000. This year we are taking it national and would like to raise at least $100,000.

Please help us achieve this and help 45,000 babies that are born premature or sick every year in Australia.

There are many easy and simple ways in which you can fundraise to help us achieve our goals. To make it more interesting for you, we have prizes for the top 3 individuals and top 3 families and to see if you are placed in the top 3, have a look at our leader board.

Getting Started

The best way to achieve success is by making a plan. What are you good at and how can you make use of your contacts around you at work, family and in the community. Read about prematurity and how our money is spent to make a difference. If you can get passionate about our cause, then your sponsors will too and you will find that you will have easily surpassed your fundraising target! Read more

Simple Ideas

Collect $20 from 10 people and before you even know it, you have already raised $200 – it’s as easy as that! If everyone participating in the event only did this, we would raise more than our expectations!! Read more

How will your money help

Over the last year, we have helped over 2000 babies and families survive neonatal intensive care and special care units (NISC) and supported 27 hospitals who look after these fragile babies battling for their lives.

However, this is not enough. With more than 45,000 babies being born premature or sick every year in Australia, we need to do a lot more. Read more
