Melbourne will hold the biggest event with both a walk and a fun run. Albert Park Lake’s Palms Lawn area will be a hub of activity with music, entertainment, children’s entertainment and market stalls.

Life’s Little Treasures Foundation encourages you to use public transport to and from the event as there is limited street parking at the event.

FAQs
What time does the event start?
You will need to pick up your registration (race bib and t-shirt/bandana) details at least 1 hour before the start of your race. Race start times are:
9:00am – 10km run,
9.15am – 5km run
10.30am – 5 km walk.
Parking may be tight so please allow extra time.
How do I pay?

What if I don’t make it? Can I get a refund?
Under the terms and conditions of the event there will be no refunds. Please consider this as a donation to the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation.
Can I enter on race morning?
Yes you can enter on the day. The entry fees will be $35 adult and $15 child
Will there be water stations?
Yes there will be a water station at the 3km point around the course as well as at the Start/Finish line.
Will there be toilets?
Yes, there are toilet blocks at Albert Park Lake & there will be breastfeeding & nappy changing facilities available.
Can I bring a pram along to the walk/run event and participate?
Yes, the course around Albert Park Lake is suitable for prams.
How fit do I have to be?
If you haven’t exercised for a while you should see your doctor before undertaking this event. To run the event you will need to have trained for some period prior to the event. Please ensure you are efficiently hydrated prior to and during the event.
Are Pets allowed?
Yes, dogs will be allowed as long as they are on a leash. Pet owners will not be allowed to start at the front of the field. There will be many children around so if your dog is senstiive please leave him/her at home.
How will I know what time I ran?
We will have tomato timing system timing all participants in the 10km and 5km run and these results will be accessible via the website link printed on the back of your race bib. Prizes will be given to the first three runners across the finish line in both categories. Walkers will not be timed.
Who does the money go to?
All proceeds after expenses will be going to the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation so they can continue to support premature babies and their families. Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is a charity which provides support, friendship, information and assistance throughout Australia to families of children born prematurely or sick. Our services are available in the hospital (neonatal and special care units) and in the community when families come home.
Will there be food/drink for sale?
There will be food and drink available during and after the event with a sausage sizzle and coffee cart.
How can I get an event shirt?
These will be given out when you register and collect your race bib on the day of the event.
You must enter by Thursday 13th October to guarantee a t-shirt/bandana.
