A group of Ansvar corporate volunteers very kindly took the day off work to come work with the Foundation. We were thrilled to have them on board  as they packed our hospital survival folder  for families of sick & premature babies currently in hospital, which contain vital resource information.  We look forward to continuing this great relationship.

A huge THANK YOU, to the wonderful team that took part in the Tough Mudder event in QLD on Sunday 13th Sept 2015.The team not only did an awesome job on the day but did some awesome fundraising too. We can’t thank them enough.

 

 

 

 


Rob Tunningley

Rob ran the Canberra Marathon on our behalf on 11 April 2015 and raised a very impressive $2,226. Rob’s daughter Lilly is an ex-32 weeker and is his inspiration to run.

Rob says:

These little people fight so hard to live. I hope to draw on that fighting spirit around 37kms when I hit the wall and remember that no matter how hard the marathon race and training are, its nothing compared to what these tiny kids and their parents go through.”

Makoto Sawa

Ran an unbelievable four ultra-marathons (100km each), four weeks apart, for four different charities at the end of 2014. He chose LLTF as one of the recipients because his nephew was born 6 weeks premature and Life’s Little Treasures Foundation supported his family through the first few months.

 


Michael Seychell

Michael SeychellA huge thank you to Michael Seychell, National Business Manager for Vodafone Hutchison Australia, who ran the Gold Coast Marathon (42.2km) to raise funds for the LLT Foundation.  He completed it in an fantastic 3hrs 46 mins and raised a whopping $8000, $3,000 of which was donated by his company through the Vodafone Foundation in their match giving program.  We can’t thank Michael enough for this amazing feat & the Vodafone Foundation for their generosity.

 


National Australia Bank

National Australia Bank VolunteersIn May 2011, a group of National Australia Bank volunteers very kindly took the day off work as part of their Employee Giving Progam & came to work with the Foundation.  We were thrilled to have them on board and together packed 2000 hospital survival packs for families of sick & premature babies currently in hospital, which contain vital resource information.  We look forward to continuing this great relationship.

 

 


VicRoads Metro South East

VicRoads Metro South EastLife’s Little Treasures Foundation would sincerely like to thank all the VicRoads Metro South East staff members who in June took part in their companies “Casual For a Cause” fundraising campaign. We had been very kindly nominated by Carolyn, a Life’s Little Treasures Foundation mum who works for Vic Roads to be the recipients of all the funds made from fundraising carried out. The guys were amazing and raised a whopping $1,525 which was then donated to LLT. What a fantastic initiative and what a wonderful group of people. The funds were very gratefully accepted and will go a long way in assisting us to provide the necessary LLT material to support families of premature babies in Victoria.

Once again thank you all the Metro South East staff members, we think you ROCK!


Hello Music

Hello MusicHello Music children took part in their Buskerthon outside Prahran Town Hall. The children performed (played instruments and sang) for an hour, raising money for LLT.They were just fantastic and did a great job performing in front of lots of strangers. Lots of fun was had by all! They raised $140 from their hour of performance – a very lucrative hour for us!

A big thank you to Karen Kim from Hello Music Land for donating all the proceeds to Life’s Little Treasures Foundation and to all the children who took part in this event.

 

 


Kings Swim School

Kings Swim SchoolA huge thank you to Donna and the staff from Kings Swim School, Armadale who raised $260 from a sausage sizzle they held during their fast track training day on Friday 3rd October. They very kindly and generously donated the entire amount to LLT. A great big thank you to them for this amazing gift!

Again in November Kings have donated another $100 to LLT, proceeds from another sausage sizzle. Thanks guys…

 

 


OAMPS

OAMPSJansel one of our members very kindly suggested to her company OAMPS that Life’s Little Treasures Foundation be the recipient of the funds raised from their casual day at work, they agreed. Thanks to the kind generosity of all the OAMPS staff a whopping $300 was donated to LLT. So a huge thank you to Jansel, Terry and all who took part at OAMPS.

Maya HarringtonMaya Harrington along with her Grade 5 school friends Josephine, Jamie, Tish, Stephanie and Charlotte, came up with their own fundraising ideas, selling snow cones, scoobies, sherbet, juggling balls and selling Life’s Little Treasures merchandise at their school fete. They raised an amazing $870 for us. Maya’s brother Luke was born 3 months prematurely and is now 6 years


 

 


Jessica Close & Rebecca StarkinsJessica Close & Rebecca Starkins two Ruytons heros. The annual and legendary Ruyton and Trinity Netball match was held on 19th August 2009. A gold coin was collected from each student watching the match and soft drinks were also sold. The fantastic event raised over $700. Thanks to all who helped the girls organize the event making it a fun filled few hours.

 

 

 


Jack MastersJack Masters our first everyday hero kicked off the year for us by running in the “Run Melbourne Marathon” on June 28th 2009…

Jack raised a fantastic $1,500.

Jack has first hand experience of life in special care when they spent some time there with his daughter.

 


Keith CrawfordKeith Crawford, another very special everyday hero who ran 21km’s in 1 hour 49 minutes in the St George Melbourne Marathon in November 2009.

Keith raised an incredible $4,600.

Keith has two daughters Caitlyn and Alana both born prematurely.

 


Sharee GeorgeSharee George, our everyday hero placing in the top 10 in the 2009 Maroondah FunRun raised $800 (well above her target). Sharee supports LLT by helping with merchandise through the web site Buttons Baby Keepsakes, for which she is a consultant.

Bronwyne who owns the store is a great LLT supporter also & you can order some amazing items for your little ones on the site.
